Play ‘Follow my leader’

This one could also be considered a science experiment, but it’s less zany and colorful and will really require them to think critically and logically. They’ll think their sock-hands are absolutely hilarious. And while it may not be the most thorough dusting in the world, it’ll make them feel involved in the house cleaning process.
All toddler activities are very impressive and creative too. Surely I will implement to kids. Sometimes you just need stuff for toddlers to do – more than exploring, arts and crafts, or an activity with an intended purpose. For our purposes, toddlers are kids between ages 1 and 3, but it’s pretty fluid. This age group starts when kids start to walk and ends roughly when they can generalize new knowledge.

Latex balloons can pop very quickly in a child’s face, startle a child, and the deflated balloon goes into the mouth. This is not a scare tactic; this is real life. My 20 mo’s favorite non-toy toy is the salad spinner. She loves to fill it with different objects (mardi gras beads, ping pong balls, magnetic letters, etc . . .) and see how they spin.
Or make stars and other crazy shapes and stick them to some string for a makeshift mobile. At this age children love to have a companion and are easier to entertain together. They’ll love it if there are people they know and we promise it’s more fun than watching endless Peppa Pig episodes. Find a fun short workout on Youtube - like Joe Wicks’ 5 minute move - and copy along from the comfort of your own living room.
The kids will have the time of their lives bobbing for apples and splashing away. This might be a little messy, but all the fun is worth a little cleanup at the end. If you are throwing a themed party, you can get a drawing printed according to that. For example, unicorn drawings for a unicorn-themed birthday bash.

Another tub idea is to clean rocks with shaving cream and warm water. It is amazing how such simple things can entertain and fascinate your little ones. I remember doing pots and pans, balloons and bubbles when my kids were younger.
